Welcome Quirks and Quarks

If you are a bit of a science geek like me or simply like staying up to speed on science and technology, PRX is thrilled to see that the CBC's first Quirks and Quarks episode is up --- ready for listening, station licensing, rating and reviewing.

QQ is a bit of a legend: it is a cross border radio hit and has been for some time. The show is straightforward: mix good science curiosity, inquisitive journalism, solid preparation and a good host and you have a quick and smart hour every week.

Ira Flatow does a good job with Science Friday on NPR, no doubt. But our radio colleagues to the north have staked out similar territory and do so with style and distinction.
