PRX Moves . . . Next Door!

On March 1st PRX will be moving to a new office, all the way next door to 2 Arrow Street, 4th Floor.

It's a great space in a spectacular building, and we are very fortunate to have landed there given the high rates and slim pickings in the rest of the square these days.

Our new landlord is the Carr Foundation run by Greg Carr, who rented PRX our first office over on Brattle street in 2002 when there was just two of us. I remember seeing the architect's plans for 2 Arrow back then and telling Greg to put us on the list of future tenants...

There are several unique features of the building:

• the American Repertory Theater runs the "Zero Arrow" space on the first floor
• it's a "LEED-certified" green building, which means it was built to rigorous environmentally sustainable standards and has various features like geothermal heating/cooling
• other occupants are also nonprofits, including Physicians for Human Rights and the Carr Foundation itself (sharing 4th floor with us a couple other small groups)
